Thomas Jefferson University?

Nursing Students NP Students

Hello! I just wanted to know if anyone here has attended TJU for their NP program. I am planning on enrolling for either their FNP or WHNP (haven't decided yet) and would love to know what you think of the program.

They are accredited and have a 95% pass rate for their boards. However, I cannot find online whether we have to find our own clinical placements or not. Any input would be greatly appreciated! :)

I'm sorry to hear that caaarolynnn. Have you applied elsewhere?

It sucks because I work for Jefferson so I would have been able to do it fairly cheap. I also have 5 years of experience, am a charge nurse, and I precept along with having multiple specialty certifications. It's unfortunate that the C+ does not reflect how competent I am.

Their program is also supposedly one of the easier ones. I applied to but I'm worried that I will not be able to afford it. I really need to get out of bedside nursing.

Drexel is expensive so I understand the worries with that. Does TJU Hospital only help with tuition at their university? Maybe you could reapply to Jefferson for the spring after speaking with someone like and advisor. There's always options and sometimes it's a matter of being a pain in the you know what to get things done.

Hi I was wondering if I could reach out to you for more information about the MSN program at Thomas Jefferson. I read one bad review on this website and it's got me nervous. I would be doing FNP so I understand it's a bit different but I think the core 16 classes would be the same. Please let me know if you could provide me more information! thank you!

Hello ?

hoping to get some feedback on Jefferson’s pnp program? Do you recommend their program?

I've heard people going to Jeff having a good experience and know some that hold great positions as an NP. I think you do have to find your own clinicals, though. I go to Villanova now because it's cheaper for me. There are a lot of factors that play into this big decision!

I'm in their FNP program and so far I like it... a lot it online and I would prefer more in person but so far its ok. They find our clinicals which is super helpful

Do you mind telling me more about the program? I start in January, but just accepted a job out of state (NY), and I want to know how much of a hinderance (if any) the added distance from Jefferson will cost me.

On average, how many classes per week (or month, etc.), have been in person? Moreover, what time are these classes?

Have you started clinicals yet, and are they offered on weekends as well?

Any info you're able to give is much appreciated!

is this program hard to get into? looking into whnp
