Does anyone know how their waitlist for interview process works? Do they just send all their “not our first choice” applicants to the waitlist for interview instead of instantly rejecting?

Congratulations to everyone on their acceptances! Any updates on interviews for these next few weeks? I submitted on 11/15 and still haven't heard anything, getting antsy ?

They’re interviewing on 12/7 and 1/19.  IDK if they’re adding more dates after that

If you haven’t gotten an email one way or the other check your portal. I never got an email but found out I was accepted via a status update on the portal

What did you think of the interview? Also, Ik they’re group interviews so do they ask the same question to everyone or ask each one different question?

Everyone was asked a different question in my group. We each answered 2 and then she asked one last question to the whole group and chose whoever raised their hand to answer. I thought it was an interesting way to interview. Like it was nice to see who you were up against but at the same time you kind of compare yourself and your answers to what the others are saying which can make it more nerve wracking. But it’s def meant to be a bit more laid back and informal if a graduate school interview can be that way.

Damn sounds like a competition for that 3rd question LOL.  They said it’s a 2 hour interview.   Is it really 2 hours? I can’t see it lasting more than an hour if they’re just asking 2-3 questions.  Unless they spend an hour talking about their school.    Thank you so much for answering the question and congrats on getting a seat

It starts with group introductions and then you move to smaller break out groups and then after 45 min there you go back to the larger group to ask faculty and a few students questions. It did take 2 hours.

Any advice on how to standing out during the interview? I feel like it very hard to showcase your strengths and personality when its a group, instead of individual interview. Do you think the interview played a big part in getting an acceptance?
