I'm going to accept because it starts ASAP & frankly I don't want to wait until next June to hear from other schools to get started. Plus I love the remote classes aspect and the AGACNP track option— such a game changer. I'm happy to start a facebook group to get people together as well — the director told me she's aiming for a class size of about 25 people!

I applied & interviewed — they just got approved this week! Hoping to hear back soon.. I'm anxious to hear about how they'll decide on clinical sites. New programs are tricky because it's a ton of trial-and-error, but I think they'll pick a class of people who are able to tackle the hiccups & will be able to pass the boards at the end of it! Super excited to hear back

Congratulations to everyone on their acceptances! Any updates on interviews for these next few weeks? I submitted on 11/15 and still haven't heard anything, getting antsy ?

I’m bummed! They let me know on the 15th that I was missing a transcript & I only just got confirmation my application was complete — any later interview dates, after the 7th?

I'm applying this year but I definitely do not expect to get accepted this cycle -- I received a free waiver after attending the open house, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to apply this cycle. Specs BS in Biology: 3.35 BSN (in a Spanish-speaking program): 3.89 3 months in Level 2 MICU/CVICU [hybrid unit] Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, AmeriCorps alumni, Mayo Clinic Operating Room Summer intern & president of nursing honor society -- hoping these can help me to at least snag an interview and get my name out to them!
