I failed twice. once in the fall and once in march. I payed to take it a 3rd time, haven't taken it yet because I don't feel confident at all. i'm very sick of studying. I used nclex3500 and don't freaking remember it. Also studied exam cram and lacharity in the past. I'm sick of this, and i'm sick of ignoring my friends and i'm sick of failure. I feel like im in a depression with this whole career choice I have made in my life & i just wanna quit!!! I am starting to hate this whole nursing thing really. Just wanna say screw it and screw everything. Just venting.

don't give up, and it's okay to vent. i would recommend saunders since i didn't see you mention it. i believe to pass the nclex you need to know your content. how have you been doing with your practice questions, if you aren't getting at least 70% correct on your practice exams than you need to take some time and buckle down with a review book and saunders is great. i failed my first time but i know i didn't study for more than a week. since then i've been using saunders and i've been getting anywhere from 67-77% on my exams, mostly in the 70's. my advice is to not take the exam until you can say with confidence that you know the endocrine, respiratory, gi, gu, renal system. if you know these systems than you should also know nursing management and infections control. test taking skills is great to have, but you won't pass if you don't know the material.
take your time and don't stress out, you will be an rn. i hear of nurses who take it 5 times, of course you don't want that, but what i'm trying to say is if you keep going you will get to where you want to be.
i also recommend giving la charity a second chance and read the rationales over again.
hey joe what you have to review the nclex could you share with me too.......my email [email protected]
