So since I've been gone the trend of posting what you are working on this week kinda disappeared. So I'm going to attempt to resuscitate it. Even if you are working on CPNE let us know what you are doing to prepare for the CPNE (if you bother to get online and read this lol)
This week I am doing 2 chapters in my math class (boring much), finishing up LS2 I test on Friday, and doing my A&P I with Straighterline. (I had to drop A&P and Micro due to military absence and the teachers being the antithesis of helpful in the matter- crappy thing I only had my final left to do in A&PI). I am dedicating about 2.5 hours a day to A&P so that would get me done in 6 days with both I&II. I will then have left just LS3 and micro exam. I am going to get the materials to study micro right after I get done with A&P I. When I pass LS2 on Friday I will order CPNE prep materials... actually I will order them today since I will pass on Friday.
Oh and off-topic, I started working at home with a total-care including suction feeding tube etc for a traumatic brain injury pt since I've been gone and I love it.
*I just ordered all my CPNE practice supplies and I am soooo nervous about my LS2 in two days. EEEK. I have memorized a bit over half of my flash cards but still feel super unprepared. Two days... I really wish I thought I could just get to it tonight and tomorrow morning and take the test tomorrow. As soon as I pass I am faxing the letter requesting early retest and starting on Micro. A&P has been pretty easy with SL but will be easier when I have the book they request.

I am working on prepping for the CPNE, finally have all my travel arrangements set up as of yesterday. Did a run through on Tuesday with my friend and felt pretty confident! Going to study today with WPLPN and also working on the EC Documentation conference this week--LOVE it so far, the instructor is gonna hate me though... little does she know I have a page full of questions for her :-)
Pushing Micro back to Aug 2, so going to study next Thursday for the CPNE but focus more on Micro to get rid of it, I'm sick of having it looming over my head LOL!!!

If I pass LS2 I haver to decide if I want to squeeze in micro before I retake LS3 or just hit LS3 hard studying. I want everything done already. I was thinking LS3 first because I can do micro while I wait for my FCCA window. Then do my FCCA as fast as possible to get on the cancellation list. But I think micro will be easier to get out of the way since I was so close to the final exam. I am waiting to request for permission to retest early after I take LS2.

Get LS3 out of the way first. You can chip away at Micro while you wait for you CPNE date. As long as you are within 10 credits, you'll be good to go once you pass the last nursing exam :-) I am taking it Aug 2, not letting myself reschedule anymore LOL
Ugh tomorrow is not coming fast enough even though I don't think I'm ready. I am however 1/3 of the way done with my SL A&P I. I have been maintaining a good grade even though it is only for credit. I am going to go study my LS2 now

Thanks WestPalm, I got a 15 day retake approval! I totally knew I was not ready the 1st time but still went ahead just because I wanted to make my August 1st deadline for a number of reasons. Anyway, doing lots a study to nail it this time around and get back on track! I will be submitting my CPNE appl. the minute I pass!
Now to start on LS 3 my last one!!! :w00t:

studying to retake LS3 - last nursing exam, then on cpne/fcca. got approval to retake after 7/30 so I'm trying for 7/30 or 7/31.
