I graduated May 8th with my BSN...took a week off to do nothing. I have my big Saunder's book now. I've decided I'm going to do what someone else on here did...do each end of the chapter quiz, and if I get below an 80 or so..mark that chapter to study and review. Anything over an 80, maybe super skim that chapter and just move on and not worry about that material. I noticed this book is WAY too detailed with some stuff. I'm also taking the HURST June 1st for the live review. Some people said they ONLY studied that little book that the HURST people hand out...does that really work? That little notebook looked kinda small when I saw my friend's. But what do you think of my Saunder's chapter quiz idea? I also plan on getting that LaCharity book for practice and stuff. I'm not gonna kill myself doing millions of questions and studying thousands of hours...but I do want to have those 3 sources in my study plan.
Slight update...I've done about 10 chapters in Saunder's and only gotten below 80 on 2 of them..go figure it was lab values, and then the one about culture and food. The lab values one I missed because I hadn't learned normal lipase and other random levels, and it had random drug therapeutic levels that I hadn't ever learned. And yeah...I admit I don't know the specifics for which culture likes what food and stuff, and I need to review my diets and nutrition.
One last question...I've been doing 10 question quizzes on the CD, and only been doing the select all that apply questions for practice. I usually get a 4-6 out of 10, maybe a 7 every now and then. But some of those questions that I miss are just PLAIN RANDOM THINGS. Like random theories and what is included in the teaching of that theory, so I'm not worried about THOSE questions. But some of the others I miss, I shouldn't...but I'm usually off by 1. Any ideas on how to practice those better? I treat them as true/false, but who knows...

If you are satisfied with your study, that is what matters. You will find out on test day if your plan is sufficient. If it is not, then you can go back and put more effort into it, but if you pass, then that will be great. Good luck.
