Well this looks like this might be the end for me with school. See I failed microbiology and A&P2. Which made my grade point average go down. And made me get put on financial aid probation. So then when I applied for financial aid for the fall I also had to fill out a student appeal form. To see if they would go ahead and approve my financial aid even though I'm on probation. Well they denied me financial aid and said that I would have to pay out of pocket. Well I can't afford that so I guess this might be the end for me. So I probably won't be on here for awhile if not permantly leave the site. Good luck to everyone with school!!!!

Cant you go to the dean or the president of the school and talk to them and tell them about whats going on and see if they will give you another chance? You never know untill you ask.... i wish you good luck and i really do hope you can continue .

Can you take one class and pay out op pocket to prove yourself? Maybe at a community college, the classes are usually pretty inexpensive and they normally accept payment plans.
don't give up just yet.

WHAT! Your going to be a QUITTER! You CANT quit! You got yourself into nursing school, you fail two classes and you want to quit! I agree with msdeannah! Dont give up and go to a community college. This time you need to work very hard and try not fail ANY of your classes! If you need help find a tutor or something! Try not taking so many classes! Just DONT QUIT!

Wow, quitting is a /big/ decision to make. What are you going to do? Why not think about taking one term off, work full time or get a second job (I don't know you or if you work or anything so I'm just throwing ideas out here) and save up a lot of what you make to pay for school? I knew of this one girl who was on academic probation because she dropped one too many classes and who was denied financial aid but was able to get it back after paying her tuition out of pocket and getting good grades in her classes. It can be done. It might suck to have to work all the time and pay for classes (which can be very expensive even in a community college, I know!) but you shouldn't have to give it all up. Try not to be discouraged. If you want to be a nurse badly enough, you can do it.
I'm curious though - how/why did you fail? Did you have some personal issues you had to deal with? If you were going through a rough time, maybe you can speak to someone to have your grade changed to an Incomplete or something. I don't know. Good luck though.

Good luck to you too. You might revisit this one day...evaluate why you failed, do what you can to improve and to bring up your grades. It sounds like there was a lot at stake and you need to evaluate why you did so poorly. I am sorry it didn't work out how you hoped. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Noooo!!! Don't give up!!
I COMPLETELY understand where you are coming from, but I strongly suggest you continue!
I had to take out stafford loans this year too! It sucks but man, in the long run, it's going to be worth it.
You can make it! Believe in yourself.
Maybe take 3 or 6 hours to pull your gpa up and in the mean while study hard to retake ap2 & microbiology.
I wish you the best of luck. Think about what is going to make you happy in the LONG RUN not just what is going to make you content now.
My mom went back to NS when I was in HS and she had to spend 3 years taking the intro classes before she could even apply.. it was a financial disaster.
Believe in your dreams & it will work out.
Remember.. everything is okay in the end; if its not okay, its not the end.
