Wow! Thats a lot to handle!! I think if you are very dedicated and you study enough and work hard that you can pass these classes. 3 labs and 3 lectures a week. It sounds hard, and then the information is condensed sense its summer. I could see taking 2 sciences classes, but 3 I think is a bit much. Do you have to take all 3 sciences classes at the same time?? Im guessing those are your last 3 pre-requisites? I think it really depends on you. I hear A&P is not an easy class. I went over the ADN admissions sheet and if I have a 4.5 technical GPA and 42 points will I have a hard time getting in?? I read on their website that people usually have over 40 points when they apply for the ADN program.

I would also like to know what areas of Allied Health have shortages as well. Im trying to decide between nursing or an Allied Health career. Im leaning more towards nursing though because there is more room for advancement and I really want to be a nurse. Im just keeping my options open though. Thanks!

BSN/RN to BSN programs from the ones I have looked at they require Stats and College Algebra. ADN programs usually require stats and not college algebra. I guess it just depends on the school. I think Algebra was harder and that stats was easy.

A&P I Medical Terminology CPT 101 (Why is this needed for an ADN?) College Algebra I tried to fit Nursing Concepts into my schedule but it wasnt working so I chose College Algebra and I need that for a BSN anyways so I might as well get it over with.

I just want to know if SAT/ACT scores are necessary for entering nursing school. Next summer when I apply as a transfer students to an ADN program (I start my pre-nursing classes this upcoming January) I will be a transfer student with over 90 credit hours. Some of these credits carry over to a BSN too. So by the time I apply to an ADN program I will only have nursing classes to take. So Im wondering if SAT/ACT scores are for students who are just starting college??? I would hate to study and take the ACT or SAT all over again. I took those test almost four years ago. Wow! 4 to 6 years!! The most I have heard is 3 years. Oh well I guess I will try to get into a school with no wait list.

No its okay. I hear a lot of nurses say this. It makes me think sometimes that I should become something else in the health care field. Who is going to addess and fix these problems???

I can see why I never wanted to live in those states anyways. CA would be okay if the cost of living wasnt so high, as for the other places they dont appeal to me.
