Hi, I just joined here, I have been trying to be a nurse since 2002! I NEVER dreamed that it would turn out this way. I currently go to Kennesaw State University. I know that school is crazy hard to get into, but i grew up in kennesaw and my sister graduated there in 1999. I don't really care what school i get into, or even what program, I even tried for my LPN (but found out yesterday I probably didn't get in). I just need some words of encouragement. i am soo discouraged. I have finished all of my prereqs. but 1 at kennesaw, bio II lab, and I only have a 3.07!!!!!!!!! I had a 3.5, but my mom died and i messed my grades up. Now i don't know what to do. I feel like im spinning my tires, and I am tired of throwing my $$ away on applications. AHHHH!!! I am so frustrated! and on top of that my husbands pressuring me to finish school (like i don't want to, idiot!) Please if anyone has recently been accepted in ANY georgia school with a 3.1 please let me know. Or just any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading, ~Natalie:cry:
Are you crazy or something? Considering my nursing GPA of 3.1 is considered competitive for CRNA school and have a good chance of getting in, I would not sweat it too much.

You deserve this! You have worked so hard to get where you are. I have 2 best friends that are trying to get into nursing school and I have pointed them to this thread! They are truly inspired. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you congratulations on completing your first semester of nursing school. It's a great feeling to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel :yeah:
Thank you so much! I don't know why I didn't see this before now! haha..but I appreciate it. I am in my second year first semester so I will be graduating in May and its good to come back to this and remember how hard I fought. Nursing school is hard and I feel like I am constantly sleep deprived, overworked-on busy type work, and ready to quit. I mean, they really do try to get you to quit. But I can make it and will! May can't come soon enough. But tell your friends to never give up b/c it will happen! Hope everyone is doing great and thanks again for such encouragement. Hopefully my next post will be to say I graduated and passed NCLEX!
