So lately I've been thinking that nursing would be a good career choice for me. I'd get a chance to help people, which I think is important. And it would be a good opportunity to meet women

Hello Graffinius, are you serious? you want to be a nurse to have opportunity to meet women. Come on now. Women are everywhere, not just in nursing.

Yeah, the thing about the internet is you can't really sense sarcasm. No, I really do want to become a nurse, and not to meet women. I have a great desire to help people. Nursing or possibly a drug and alcohol counselor are my career choices at this point

I became a nurse for many reasons; healthcare is fascinating, love to help people, especially the underdog... btw, I met my wife, also an RN, while I was doing my nursing clinicals during ADN program. ;)
