Things you wish you had worked on before nursing school ?

Hi,

I wasn't sure if I should ask this in pre-nursing or here but I was wondering if there was anything you wish you would've studied/done prior to nursing school or even taking your pre-reqs?

I recently bought Gray's Anatomy (student version) because I always wanted it but could never justify it :) I've started reading it and its fascinating. I'm also doing some side studying of various subjects and brushing up on old pre-reqs which I may end up retaking anyway.

Anyway, is there anything you would suggest either self-study or activities you would've done prior to going to nursing school?

I wish I had worked a lot more to save up money the summer before nursing school, because there is no time for it now. :( I also wish that I had studied harder in my pre-req classes.

Definitely get out the A&P books and flip through the pages to refresh your memory.
