Ok, I know I am getting impatient, but I mailed in my application 6 weeks ago today and still nothing. Ugh. Anyhow, this is for everyone in the same boat as me. Here is how I have been passing the time (other than working and studying of course). Please feel free to add to this list, so I can get more ideas and also laugh. :)
1) cleaning my house....over and over and over and over....
2) reading a novel for fun
3) calling ANCC just one more time.... lol
4) logging onto allnurses.com for emotional support-thanks guys!! :)
5) playing with my cats
6) exercising
7) complaining to anyone who will listen about how long it is taking just to be able to schedule this exam
8) playing with my one year old niece
9) going to the beach
10) texting all my classmates to see if they have scheduled their exam yet or know anyone who did...ok, I know I am obsessed!!

11) cleaning the lint trap in your clothes dryer...and the vent hose
12) bleaching and then re-sealing the grout in your ceramic tile floor
13) organizing your shoes by style...then by season...then by color...
14) baking lots of cookies/brownies to deliver to your local fire station
15) dusting your baseboards (it's amazing how bad they get!)
I'm sorry for coming up with mainly cleaning-related ideas...*sigh* But my creative juices are nearly dried up this evening!
Good luck to you!

I'm in the same boat. I am waiting to schedule my exam. Today, I called the ANCC, and they gave me the info to schedule the exam but I can't schedule it until Wednesday. I'm with you on the frustration part.
To add to your list:
16) Have your mom tell you again that you WILL pass the exam.
17) Go shopping for clothes for the new NP job.
18) Pack since I am moving back to the great state of Texas.
19) Watch another episode of pathetic reality tv.
20) Think about picking up an extra shift at work but nahhh!
Good luck on your exam!

I can't remember who or where it was posted, but someone said to try the number from the ANCC on the Prometric site... so one of my activities was to do this, several times a day. In between reviewing, cleaning, reading, walking the dog, cooking, painting...
BTW it finally worked, and I did get my date set up, so now I am able to study with a bit more focus!
All in all, it was almost two months from mailing in the application. I haven't gotten the written notice yet.
And, I called my state licensing agency and they said it was usually 4-6 weeks from test passing to licensure but it's been more like 6-8 weeks. So I'll have even MORE time to clean, paint, post...
