Hey guys, 

I haven't seen a thread made for this yet so I thought I'd start one! I know our deadline is coming up in less than 2 weeks; how far are yall on your applications? Best of luck to everyone applying!!

So...do yall think it's too hopeful to have a decision from UTMB before April 11? 😭 I got into another school, but I still want to hear from UTMB before I accept.

For fall 2023 when they pushed it the earliest someone heard back was April 24th. Some not till May.

I've talked to a few students that applied for the Fall 2023 and some said they received a response at the end of April and some said they found out in like June! That would be awesome if they said something to someone before April 11th though!

I also heard back from a few schools and went ahead and accepted the spots. And when I make my final decision, I'll just send an email saying I won't be attending anymore. :)

Yeah I'm going to have to accept the spot at this point. Kinda wild that it's been radio silence from UTMB. Deadline's come and gone and not a peep.....

That would be so nice...not sure though judging by previous years. it seems later  for decisions 😞  But willing to hope and pray for something earlier ! Its  hard to not be able to plan because if retakes are needed they can't be squeezed in before the next semesters starting date. Congrats on getting accepted to another program. that is great news!

Hey yall, this is probably a really dumb question but if I have something supplemental that I want to submit, is it too late to ask if I could do that? Obviously the deadline has passed but part of me thinks it couldn't hurt to ask?

Hey guys, I called UTMB Nursing admissions to ask about the progress of our applications. They said they've already started reviewing them since the application date closed on March 15th. Decisions take 8-12 weeks so the person said we should hear back maybe in the second week of May 😭 I really hope it's earlier than that because I want to know if I got into UTMB before having to go to orientation for another nursing school.

Omgggg same I emailed the other day with a question about admissions and the said we will hear back mid May…… I can't

I don't think it hurts to ask and just see what they say ☺️

How do they weigh the GPA? I've retaken a few courses for a higher grade. Would they weigh all grades including the retake or just the highest grade? I noticed that on nursingcas they weighed all courses I've taken even if they aren't Prerequisites and I was also confused whether UTMB did the same or just weighed the prerequisites

The day Before or maybe on the day  twu released acceptances this year, someone called and they told them like end of April...so you never know! My guess is beg of May tho
