Has anyone interviewed for PCP-NP? What were the questions like and the group interview? Did you bring anything to the interview too?

Has anyone heard anything further about the background checks? I filled out the survey that (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) emailed out a few weeks ago but havent heard anything since then.

I had an interview for the LeaDS program maybe about a month ish ago and just got an email to schedule fingerprinting. But thats all so far!

Ahh thanks for the update! I was turned away from the PMHNP program but given the chance to apply for LeaDs. I had to submit my updated Statement of Purpose by Dec 10th. I haven’t heard anything about an interview yet and I’m getting nervous! But I did get the fingerprinting email as well.

Hey everyone! I interviewed for the PMHNP track in December. I just got an email from you know who saying that the school is allowing me to put my name in the ring for LeaDS as well as the PMHNP track. Anyone else get the email? If so, what are you going to do?

IDK what I'm going to do yet. I think we might have gotten similar emails because I applied to the PCP program and was offered that too. Just for clarification, the email doesn't mean we were rejected from our programs right? Just that it's an option?

We probably got the exact same email. Mine even had a typo at the end that said PNP PC instead of PMHNP. I took yesterday off of work to do a little soul searching, and I decided to go ahead and interview for LeaDS as well. It isn't the track I wanted, but it gets my foot in the door. And who knows, maybe the teaching route is where I'm supposed to be. Although the email specifically says that I'd be considered for both, it felt like an email nudging me to take the second option. I don't think we're completely out of the running, but we may be sitting closer to the "waitlisted" arena for our chosen programs. This is all speculation, because I can't be sure if everyone who interviewed for the NP tracks got the email or not.

They said someone would contact me by the end of next week to schedule something. I'll let you know when they schedule it.

I am applying to a non-AE PHMNP program at UT and was curious the format/content of the interviews for those of you who completed that interview process recently. Thanks!
