Hey everyone! Haven't seen a forum for UTA BSN Spring '23 so decided to create one, not sure if this will reach anyone but feel free to ask questions, share stats and chat about finding out if we get accepted

Time is getting closer and closer ? 

Hi!

I applied for Spring 2023 campus based program. I was waitlisted last fall. I got an A in patho & a B I’m pharm. I took pharm this Summer so it didn’t count towards my points. I’m at an 8.761.

were you at an 8.761 when you got waitlisted last fall?

No, in the fall I was at 8.261.

I have a 7.688 so honestly I don’t see it happening for me! Good luck to all you!! Did y’all apply to another school?

I hear every semester is different so chances are still good! I applied to TWU as well. TWU is announced in October. If I don’t get in I’m going to look into West Coast University. It’s more expensive but no wait list. I can’t keep waiting because I have completed all my basics.

I was going to apply to twu but I ended up not applying, if I don’t get into UTA I’ll try again and for sure twu next time around 

I have completed all my basics as well but wcu is way to expensive for me ?

Only downfall to TWU is you have to retake path & pharm since it’s part of their program during nursing school. The advisor said the board rarely accepts those classes as a transfer. 

I also had to take a nutrition class for TWU.

Yes that would suck to retake patho and pharm ? I took nutrition as well and UTA accepted it for my upper division elective

Yes that’s what previous students have told me that they got the email Friday after 5pm

The advisors said the week of the 5th so hopefully this Friday I’m feeling so impatient ?
