  1. Ooh okay that will be better for us then haha, I emailed HR and she said all clearance emails will be sent tomorrow
  2. Hey everyone! Have you all received a clearance email yet for TMO? I know the due date is tomorrow for everything and I still haven't received one
  3. I believe there should be another forum for the July cohort if someone made one you can check for updates
  4. I didn't have any hospital or tech experience, but I am lucky to be in the DFW area and did my pediatric clinicals at Children's. My professor knows a lot of people there and she was able to get me an inside referral from a team lead on the floor that I did my clinicals with. I was also able to get a lot of referrals from clinical instructors. On top of that I have a daughter who is autistic so I have some experience dealing with "disabled" kids. I just expressed wanting to work there and move my way up as much as possible and they seemed to really like that, like the others said they want people to stay with Children's for as long as possible!
  5. That's what I was thinking! Just thought we'd do the back ground check first and then the drug screen, to avoid doing everything at once ?
  6. Hey everyone I hope yall are doing well! I know it's been a while but for those who have got a job offer have yall received any information for drug screening/ background check yet besides the initial email? Our start date is coming up and still haven't been told to do anything
  7. They didn't but I've heard it's previously been you do half your precepting shifts days half nights not sure if that's true or not
  8. Just the basics was told to me that you do the classes for a certain amount of time, you work with a preceptor for 12-16 weeks depending on your unit and how you're learning, and then after that you work on your own and get monthly check ups with the educator until the one year mark, we also have to do an EBP over something related to your unit but not sure when that will be.
  9. I'm hoping we will continue to receive phone calls within the next week, my friend that did her ED interview they told her 1-2 weeks and that was today they can only call so many people in one day ?
  10. I am not sure how the rejections work personally, but I have heard it's a system that picks applicants based off their resume, so if your resume is lacking in certain aspects that could affect you from getting calls.. make sure you have a really good objective and add in key words to try and help you stand out
  11. I haven't, trying to stay positive! My friend barely did an interview in the ED today and they told her 1-2 weeks so I'm sure it's just based off units when they reach out.
  12. Congrats! Was it (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES/IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS PER THE TERMS OF SERVICE) that made the call?
  13. My interview was personally only 2 people, but my friends was 4.. they ask different behavior questions, name a time you made a mistake and how you overcame it, how you deal with upset patients etc.. I watched TikTok videos on advice and it was pretty helpful.
  14. They are supposed to send it out the night before! But all you do is go to the main parking garage (green garage) walk the sky bridge and check in at the main desk! ? they will send you the hiring managers name to tell them when you check in
