Hi everyone! Thought it would be helpful to make a thread for students planning on applying for UBC's Nursing Program for 2024! Use this as a platform to ask questions and share info for nursing applications ? Good luck to you all!!

Update: I'm number 34 on the wait-list. I had to go in to UBC campus to find that out, not sure what clerical error led to them not sending me anything with everyone else in the beginning of May but here we are.

Cautiously optimistic, but hoping everyone can keep updating as soon as they find out what number they are and what date they receive their acceptance off the wait-list 🙂

No Facebook group is planned for this year. Allnurses also does not allow posting external links to social media (we've been warned). The last two year's did not use their Facebook group. Your welcome package will have details of the NUS communication platform. If you message me (Riley Huntley), I can connect you.

To create a special place for your cohort:

1.   Create a student "Club" for your cohort by clicking on the"Breakroom/Clubs" lInk under "CommunIties" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated,unless a member reports an issue.
