The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) AMNP Spring 2024

Hey everyone! I couldn't find a pre-existing thread on here but I'm creating this for people applying for UAB's AMNP Program of Spring 2024 as a place for us who have questions, advice to give, etc. 

I applied last year, and was accepted but wasn't able to attend because of a few financial things I had going on at the time. I got accepted with a 3.8. Anyways, I reapplied this year and I'm waiting to hear back currently. The email last year said they'd let us know by the middle of October and I found out Oct 12th. The email this year says "early October.” Not sure if that means it will be this week but I would hopefully assume that we know something by Friday

Did anyone get rejected after their interview? I would love to talk more and find out what went wrong during the process.

Hey guys I know this is an old thread but im looking to apply for Spring 2025, and I wanted to ask your opinions on the program and my chances of getting in? I have a 3.5 undergrad GPA and all As in my prereqs, I just started a job as a unit secretary in a hospital as well. Is it possible to work during this program? I want to get alabama in state tuition but in order to do that I would have to be a full time alabama employee since im from GA

Hi! I just started a thread called UAB AMNP Spring 2025. Go comment over there and hopefully more people applying this year will find it! I obviously can't answer this question since I am applying this year as well, but you sound competitive to me!
