I was told about the the "Pearson Trick" a few days ago. I took my NCLEX on friday 9/16 and by that afternoon, I went onto Pearson's website and did the trick, and got the good error message.
I have not seen anything on by state BON website.. so I dont know officially if i passed or failed the test.
I am super suspicious of this Pearson Trick, I find it hard to put all my faith in a silly pop up. Accoriding to the Pearson Trick, I passed. I will have to wait and see what the BON says..
Also, I want to post some information about how long it is taking me to get my pass/ fail information bc i know i am a nervous wreck, so hopefully this may bring some peace of mind to future testers.

TOOK TEST FRIDAY 9/16 @ 8am
BY 2pm THAT DAY (9/16) I WAS ABLE TO DO THE PEARSON TRICK -GOOD POP UP PRESENT-

*Just a side note- it is 10 am Saturday morning here (24+ hours after my test) and I have been checking on the BON website, and there is nothing... So this may also show that the BON does not update on weekends or take longer than 24 hours
Hello everyone! So, this is my first time actually posting to any threads..I discovered this site while I was in PN school and read many forums about the PVT and wondered if it was reliable.I am a HUGE skeptic when it comes to things like this.. Well, today, Friday December 2nd, 2011 @ 12 pm, I took the NCLEX-PN. And let me just tell you that I couldn't get out of that testing room fast enough!! I am convinced that I failed! My computer shut off after 85 questions. The questions that I had were SO hard!! Just typing this now is giving me anxiety and I am having heart palpitations. SMH..I was hit with like 15 SATA and maybe 2 math questions..and lots of Peds..which I happen to not be very fond of and of course, I get loads of them on the NCLEX!! I went home sobbing, calling my mom telling her " I think I failed!!" So I figured I would try the PVT. Besides, what did I have left to lose anyway? The time is now 6 pm, same day..
I got what they call "The good pop-up"..Even did it twice just to be sure. I must admit, it helped calm my nerves just a little bit..enough for me to stop shaking but I STILL need to see it in black and white. I should find out on tuesday and will of course post an update!
JUST WANTED TO UPDATE EVERYONE: TODAY IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, 2011-I checked online at Pearson at apporximately 2 pm and saw the link next to my test that read: Quick Results. Got my card, put in my card info, paid the 8 bucks and the word that i saw was>>>>PASS!!!!!!! OHH EMM GEE!!! I AM NOT OFFICIALLY AN LPN!!! Seems that there is truth to the PVT trick!!
Thanks for posting this!! Took mine Friday 10th feb at 8 am. It is 8.27 am and nothing:( the suspension is killing me!! However I will keep checking - hopefully if your timeline is an indicator I have less than an hour to go......
It's 9.15 am and checked again - results up, paid my money and PASS!!!!!! I am so happy :) thank you to all the encouraging posts throughout this site, you made the wait bearable ( well slightly!!)

It has been 48 hours after my exam and there is still no Quick Results option ..I'm dying to know!! I took my NCLEX thursday at 8 am and it is now saturday 840am, I have been checking since 8, still nothing..Im getting worried. I got the "good pop up" and I keep getting it til now, but is it really reliable?? This waiting game is killing me

Try to remember, it might not be 48 hrs to the second that you took your exam. I took my exam at 8am, 48 hrs later at 8am, no quick results, 48 1/2 hrs later no results, 48 3/4 hrs no results, at 49 hrs my results came up.
Sadly I didn't know about the PersonVue trick when I took my NCLEX for my LPN.
Thankss so much! I got my result at 9 15, so you're right, a little more over 48 hours , but what a relief!! I passed, and the pearson vue trick also did work for me
