Ok guys I will be testing again in about a week, I have reach to the point where I do not know what else to study, and feels like throwing up. Can you guys give me some tips on what to do, I will like to hear what I can do at one week before this exam, need to hear what others have done at one week prior, please help me out here, I am feeling like my brain is about to pop open. Thanks guys
Good Luck Kay - we're all rooting for you.
I 2nd the posters who have said try & get some relaxation in.
I spent many airmiles on a hotel room right by the testing centre so I got a good nights uninterrupted (by kids etc) sleep before the exam & had no stress about getting to the centre.
You sound so well prepared - just go in there & nail it!!
All the best - looking forward to posting a "congrats" reply to you soon xxx

GOodluck in your test Kay! One week before my test I still did questions and their rationales but I'd stop whenever I feel like my brain can't take it anymore. I would do something else like take a nap, have a nice meal, watch t.v. with my mom, or take some bubble bath I think it's best to just relax the day before the test. I went over some lab values and test strategies while I was in the car 30minutes before I went in.

Thank you very much, I my brains are popping right now, and I still feel like I need to know more.
take one day off from studying and do something fun. It might:cool: take your mind off the exam for a little while and help you rejuvenate. All the best. Your hard work and faith in god will pay off. I'm praying with you. Go for it!!
Thank you so much sweetnnurse, your prayers means alot to me. God bless you.

It's normal to feel like you need to know more. Just remember that the exam is testing your knowledge as an entry level nurse. Know the basics (ABC's), lab values, infection control, and test strategies. I remember in Kaplan class they taught us that sometimes even if you don't know a certain word, just by using the strategies and comparing your choices, you can still figure out the answer. Always be positive and believe in yourself that you can do it :nuke:
