i saw my post earlier today and i thank those who took the time to read it and pray for me. i got to the testing site early and began my test at 1:30 pm and i finshed at 4:45 pm with 140 questions. i don't feel good about it at all.
my state doesn't participate in the quick results notification so i have to wait to find out results.
i wished i could say i know i passed, but i don't. i didn't have any new format questions nor med calculations. i have a little bit of psych, med/surg peds/ob and questions about medications, teaching, etc.
i thought i would fall out of my chair when my computer didn't stop at 75, then it notified me of break time and then 140 questions and it stopped. what a feeling that rush through you when you want to stop but want more questions to have a chance to pass.
well, i am going to search the boards for a while and then prepare myself for work tomorrow.
once again, thanks for your prayers and support.

hang in there.... i'm saying a prayer for you!. you did fine. it's the waiting. all of your hard work and time will pay off... think positive thoughts and know that you passed... we believe in you.. we took our test on the same day, around the same time....good things happen on that day... keep us posted
:) I have heard that many people (outside this board) that have taken more than 75 questions and have passed! If you are into the whole numbers thing - everyone that I have talked to that got 140 questions has passed... Personally after 140 I freaked out and "lost my lunch" because I knew I failed then... Sorry to hear your state does not do "Quick Results"! Try to relax and take some "me" time!
First of all I want to say im proud of you for getting up and retaking the nclex after not passing it the first time - that is a strength in itself. I, too am retaking it next week. I think you are more paranoid than normal becuase it is your second time taking it. It cut off at 75, that is usually a good sign, especially for a second time test taker, it shows you really had studied up. I think you are gonna be fine, just remember that everything happens for a reason, and you will pass it. Good luck and let us know!
