  1. Hey everyone - I PASSED! FOund out this morning. Thank you for all your kind works. Im very excited about being an RN. Good Luck to all waiting results.
  2. Hey all - I took the nclex this morning for the second time - I was nervous around the 75 mark cuase of failing at that score before but i got 3 more questions - 78 in all then it cut off. I know I got the last one right - but Im kinda concerned cuase it was a real easy question. I figure if i did real bad wouldnt it of cut off at 75 again and failed me? Also would it of asked me more questions if i got the 3 after 75 wrong? I dont know - I just thought the test was real hard. I really do not want to go thru the feeling of failing again.
  3. I am retaking the nclex tomorrow at 9am and am doing some practice questions today. I am starting to get really frustrated and annoyed becuase I am doing the NCSBN review and am getting about 58 percent right at all times. On other reviews I am making 78 per cent or thereabouts. This is really worrying me now. WHat in gods name am I gonna do. I am reviewing questions today over and over - should I just forget about it and just take the darn test tomrrow. Help please.
  4. ok people - this is it! i will be retaking my boards in approx 48hrs. i feel so much calmer, more at peace. ive reviewed and ive prayed. this time im not gonna fly thru it like i did last time. im taking my time. gonna do the best i can. please pray for me folks, i would be so appreciative. with the lords help and yours - i know i can do it! i will keep you imformed.
  5. Hey there - I have to retake the nclex next week for the second time, I am working so hard at reviewing and knowing my test taking strategies. I would like to know if anybody has used the review on the NCSBN learning extension website and if it helped them with their boards. I really need to pass this test, and am doing everything in my power to learn and build on where i went wrong. The hardest thing for me is hearing about others in my class who passed whilst I didnt. Im taking practice tests and averaging 68 percent to 78 per cent. Is this ok?
  6. First of all I want to say im proud of you for getting up and retaking the nclex after not passing it the first time - that is a strength in itself. I, too am retaking it next week. I think you are more paranoid than normal becuase it is your second time taking it. It cut off at 75, that is usually a good sign, especially for a second time test taker, it shows you really had studied up. I think you are gonna be fine, just remember that everything happens for a reason, and you will pass it. Good luck and let us know!
  7. Hi All - Im the one that bombed the nclex with 75 questions first time. Now Im retaking it next week. The things I did different was review Kaplan and study my strategies, and I calmed down. Im nervous becuase I dont want to fail again BUT I keep thinking that I have already seen the test, and feelmore relaxed about it. I would like to ask for your prayers and good thoughts. I will let you all know how i do. Any word from anyone who has taken second time.
  8. Took nclex friday - it cut off at 75 questions. I felt good for a while - until today - now i cant stop crying - everyone who took it with me has their nursing license number now. As for me - nothing! I called the BON DIrectly - they said maybe check at end of the week. Oh well right. Guess I failed. Ever heard of that after 75 questions. I honeslty felt good about this and thought that i had gotten quite a number of them right. Guess I must have got all of them wrong. The girl at the BON said it could be becuase i was born in another country that the background might be taking longer than others. Whatever you know. This is the worst feeling I have ever felt.
