Hey, I am not a graduate, but I was recently accepted to the program. The NLN Pax book really helps with reviewing the material. Good luck with your test!
Wow I thought school is pretty modern the woman I spoke with Karen was very forthcoming they are Acen accredited which is huge especially if you plan on pursuing your BSN like I said the facilities were modern classes are Monday through Friday anytime between 9 to 6 and doesn't have to be exactly 9 to 6 it can be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first semester is Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and the semesters after that are Monday through Friday possibly Saturday because you start clinicals in your second semester. They do take credit from other school I'm not transferring any so I didn't really take that much information on that issue. You have to take the NLN entrance exam they recommend the book third edition I'm not sure if I left anything out if you have any specific question and I have the answer I'll be happy to answer you
Thank you for responding how hard was the exam if you don't mind me asking what score did you get I'm really nervous about the exam I'm not that great in math I love science but I'm sure this test is on another level any information or tips you can give me I would greatly appreciate. Will you be starting in September or January. Do you know any graduates from the program?
I really hop I get in I'm ordering the book right now

The exam was moderately difficult. My biggest struggle with the exam was finishing each section on time, especially the math and reading portions. I found myself scrambling at the end of those sections to finish, but maybe it was a me thing because the people in the exam room with me all finished before me lol. I ended up getting a 138 on the exam. I will be starting in September and I do not know any graduates of the program. I am the same way about science and math. I found the science portion to be the easiest but I just finished APII so the bio is fresh in my mind. If I had any advice to give it would be to take time practice tests, especially of the math portion. The math isn't necessarily complicated, it just takes time if you are not used to those types of problems. A lot of conversions and a lot of questions that are very consistent with what the practice book entails. But really focus on time management because there are more questions per section than the practice exam has. Hope that helped. Good luck and let me know if you get in!
