The Stress Of The Unknown

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello all you future nurses to be! Just wanted to ask how you all are dealing with the stress of the unknown ~ I am taking Anatomy, Physiology, Algebra, & Nursing Education this semester so I could apply to our nursing program for Fall 2005. I have submiited my application & won't find out if I'm in the program until mid-June. Our school accepts 37 students once a year...I know at least 3 times that will apply. :imbar I am working harder than I ever have in my life ~ the load I'm taking is nearly breaking me, but I wanted to give this everything I have in order to try for this fall. How is everyone in this position preparing themselves for possibly devastating news about their applications? I realize that I could get in as well, so I'm just preparing myself for both scenarios!

Specializes in Operating Room.

Just take it with a grain of salt, so goes the saying.

If not accepted the first time, I'll take more classes that will apply for my BSN since I will have all my ADN non-nursing courses complete before I apply.

Good luck on getting in! :)

One day at a time! If you've tried your best, know that you've done all you can do. If by chance you don't get in, evaluate your weaknesses and grow.. giving yourself better opportunity for next year. If you do get in, post here and let us know so we can all be excited with you! We'll be waiting to hear along with you! :)

Good luck!
