I'm literally exactly where you are. Just graduated OSU this past spring with a BS Biology 3.5 and A's in all my prereq classes and currently am taking 2 remaining prereqs at CSCC. Have yet to take my STNA and am waiting to take pharmacology. Super nervous about getting accepted, although, I feel like neither of us should be. I understand how competitive the program is, I just really really reallyy want it!
I haven't heard from OSU. Currently taking the prerequisites but am very nervous as I didn't have any of them completed by the time I submitted my application. I am hoping my high GPA and having a graduate degree will help but I am not sure how they will evaluate me. Hoping for the best! Do they interview all applicants? When did last year's cohort find out? I am hoping it's before January!
@jraelyn I am planning to take mine tomorrow as well. I applied to PMHNP, how about you?
@flexis I spoke to the admissions office and they said it will be all questions you know the answer to, similar to most questions you'd find in this sort of interview, ie. strengths/weaknesses, overcoming obstacles, managing situations, etc.

Hello All,
I am starting all my prerequisites for the OSU GE Master Nursing program and I am nervous. I don't know anyone who has done it and I don't know what to expect for the application process or classes. I have a BS in Chemistry with a combined GPA of 3.56. I am currently enrolled this summer at CSCC to take 3 of the 5 classes I need to be competitive. I am also taking my STNA classes at the end of April. I am trying to do everything I can to make myself competitive for the application process starting this July to Oct. Once I get my STNA classes out of the way, I was going to apply for a job as a PCA in the NICU. (since I want to go into the Neonatal NP program.
I just was looking for anyone who might have advance or any information at all that can help me. Any help or people like me (about to apply to the program) is appreciated. Thank you.
