wow very interesting.

In my community health class, we had to teach a class on nutrition and exercise to 4th and

5th graders. We, of course, based the nutrition portion off the food pyramid. The week before our presentation the food pyramid changed so we had to change our whole curriculum. Grr...

But I agree it is much better than the previous one. I especially like the fact that they got rid of that stupid serving thing and put in actually measurements. Who knows what a serving is?!?

Hi Karen...thanks for posting those links! I've bookmarked my 'personal pyramid of foods' so I can study them, grocery shop by it, etc. This is so neat and very helpful! I don't get enough exercise.......of course, I knew this already. :chair: but, I usually eat very nutritiously with an occasional.....ah heck, I can't lie.......more than an occasional sweet tooth addiction. :uhoh21: :rotfl:

This will at least help keep me on track. I used to lose weight so easily, and feel a lot more perky, but lately with all I've been challenged with in my life, I've had more days of moodiness, tiredness, and wanting to curl up in my comfy blankie and block out the world. I am soooooooo looking forward to "the new me" because I'm FINALLY starting to desire having "a new me".
