thanks so much. i have been studying the fluids/electrolytes and i keep getting them confused!! i will concentrate on lab values tomorrow and then i am just going to relax the rest of the day. my exam is on monday! but right now, i am wondering if i should postpone it?????????[/quote
im questioning whether i want to postpone mine, but for me, i think my anxiety and low confidence is getting the best of me. but i know that i have done my best to prepare...and its better to keep telling myslef that i can do, and go in there, take several deep breaths, take my breaks, and read the questions carefully, and take my time.

:barf01:yes, i feel like vomiting. i take my test in the morning. i have been trying to relax a little but find myself getting up and opening my book to review more stuff. how will i even be able to sleep tonight? last night i woke up about 17 times and each time i awoke, i was thinking of some type of disease sign/symptom or lab value. they are all running together and i don't want to draw a complete blank tomorrow morning!

i have not been able to sleep well like you!!! trust me i totally understand when you say that you can't relax and keep waking up going over disease process, drugs, side effects...it totally totally sucks! the anxiety level is unbeliveable...uuggghh

my exam is tuesday morning. yours is monday morning. i plan on going to sleep at 10, because i know for sure that i will lie there awake for 2 hours...at the very least. i suggest you do the same!

btw what are u getting on your practice exam? recently i have been getting mid 70s...before that it was high 60s...i have until monday 7 am to postpone it....everyone including family, friends, and bf tells me not to delay it....uggghhh i just don't knowwwwwwww :crying2:

i only use the saunders cd for the exams. it all depends. on the 100 question exams, i usually receive 70's. on the 10 question quizzes, i have been receiving 80's and 90's depending on the category. however, i did get a 50 today for a quiz on child health (scary huh??) i am so nervous, i can't focus and concentrate, and i have been an absolute _____ to my family today.

i hope your exam went well...and got some rest last night. its over for now so as hard as it is right now, just try to relax..keep yourself busy. i'll be trying to do the same tomorrow.

it was aweful. i felt like i knew nothing. everyone was right. there really is no way to study for this. the computer cut me off at 85 questions (pn). i just did the pearson vue trick and it states that "the candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. a new registration cannot be created at this time." i wonder if that means i passed or if it is way to soon to determine. i just took the exam this morning.

maybe its too early for the pearson vue trick...i think people waited at least 2 hrs before they did the trick....just be a little bit more patient

i know that having a lot of sata is a good sign on the nclex, but i almost always get those wrong....so thats bothersome...nothing much i can do now except read read read and questions questions questions.....

i had like 12 sata questions and a whole bunch of meds. not one question on insulin, musculoskeletal, gi, neuro, peds...nothing. you just can't study for this. you need to base everything on what you have learned in school. you will be fine. i didn't even study last night. i had 3 beers and then went to sleep. i played really loud music all the way to the test site and prayed! you can do it! here is a big hug. :icon_hug:

yeah, I'm terrified as well. I took Kaplan and just recently found an application that gives me test questions on my itouch. it's from pepid, and is a cool little program that allows me to study on the bus on my way to class. just over a month to go... i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
