The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.

It is completly possible they have moved on to the second funding group. Last year there was 425 complete applications with only 1289 awards. This year they said about 500 would be awarded...so if history repeats itself they will be able to go into the second funding group. If you read the program guidance packet very carefully it says many, many ways that your application may be considered incomplete. It mentions even the tiniest descrepancy would deem your application incomplete and you wont know until the end of september. If they moved on to the second funding group i would say its safe to think that every one who recieved an email in the first funding group will get it. Good luck to all of you.
Oh also, i dont know if this helps, but last semester my loan paid my tutition before my pell grant hit my account and I got a check for the entire pell grant sent to me for other school expenses.

I think many of us in the first funding group know that our applications weren't incomplete and still didn't get the emails.
How do you all know that your applications were complete? They did not confirm when or even if they received the supplement material so that could be a possibility?Unless you had it sent all in one package and had it certified!!
I actually did that to mine and online it notifies you that "no materials needed to be submitted at this time" after the packet was received. I'm sure many people, including myself, double checked everything over and over again in order to assure the completeness of our applications.
I don't think any of us know what is going on. There is no way to know that our applications were complete. Just because WE think they are complete doesn't mean that HRSA thinks this. But everyone getting mad at each other for something that is being said isn't going to make life any better. And just because you haven't received an email yet doesn't mean you wont.
oh my,im sorry! I didnt mean to make anyone "mad" I just no hoe nervous I have been thinking i may have made the smallest mistake that deemed my application incomplete. For one, I filled out my online application and then realized it said to do the supplemental info first. It says the online application must match the schools acceptence/good standing paper work EXACTLY. I have worried for months that i accidently put the 31st as a start date rather then the 30th!! Then I worried that the school official didnt put my full time status down...any of these little thing would make your application incomplete. So i have just been so worried. My thoughts are that many people will get knocked out of the running for this small things, because im sure more then 425 people applied last year...its says 425 "eligible" applicants. its all so scary huh!!
I'm not mad. I have just been reading post were everyone seems to be biting each other's head off. I get that people are worried and frustrated but why be worried about something you can't change. I received an email, but doesn't mean I will get the scholarship. I have stated before I was making it somehow before the scholarship and I will make it somehow if I don't get the scholarship. You are right it is nerve racking and a little unfair. Especially when there is no way to track or look back at your supplemental documents. Who knows how they pick the applicants...one may never know.
