The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
If you have any questions about the program or the application process, the HRSA offers resources and support to help guide you through the process. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive financial assistance while pursuing your dream of a career in healthcare and serving those in need.

i sent an email to the school to see if it was received and to reiterate the date they want these back by.
hey i emailed the guy from hrsa....this is what he responded
we have already contacted the school representatives. we have other resources to help us calculate tuition and stipend allocations for students who qualify for the nursing scholarship program if we do not get the information by due date. hope this answers your question. thanks for your patience.

well, yeah, like the tuition and fees information we had to send in as part of the application. or the school's websites, which usually pretty clearly delineate everything. or a call to financial aid. i seriously hope they'd consider one or several of these routes to get their information even if they don't get the form back.
i would be in a righteous fury if i got denied a scholarship like this because they gave administration lackeys a whopping two business days to do this, right before the start of a term when they're slammed.
Btw, the guy on the phone told me they are still sending out notification emails.
The same thing happened to me and apparently they sent me an email on Monday and it was kicked back to them. Call and tell them you just recieved this new email.....I bet a million bucks they sent you an email on Monday and you didn't get it like me. They resent it yesterday and I faxed everything out!!!! Good Luck
That's good to know because my school official is out of her office until August 2nd. And the bursar's office is closed until Monday so I guess I will call then to see if someone else could fill it out and send it back. Did everyone that received the first e-mail get this one? Just trying to figure if they are weeding people out or not.
Did anyby receive that last email that did not get the first letter? I didn't get the first letter but got the spreadsheet and that kinda freaks me out that I may have not gotten the first email.

Yea that's what I told them. That I had gotten this new email and not the first email and he said as long as my email on the site was correct that it would be sent if I was supposed to get it. I am just going to be ****** if I was supposed to recieve an email and didn't get it. Grrr. The John Voo guy that sent out the school spreadsheet also said they would be sending out more emails til the end of next week. I assume they will be extending that July 30th deadline by the sound of it b
