The end is near

I've been coming to this site for almost 2.5 years. I will be taking my last final on May 16th..(I can't wait). I've posted responses a few times, but mostly I just read through everything. Which is what brings me to this post. I was reading through and looking at all the pre-nursing students post and just remembering when that was me 2.5 years ago. It was so exciting and scarey. I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh from excitement or cry because of fear. The last 2.5 years have been the most challenging and rewarding years of my life. So, to all the new nursing students, good luck. You will have good days and bad days. There will be a lot of frustration and self doubt, but there will also be many rewarding days. I remember the days when I thought just mastering the art of taking a BP seemed impossible, and then to see where I am now(although I do know I still so much left to learn). It all seemed so impossible, which is why I couldn't be prouder of myself and the great friends and collegues I've made along the way. So, good luck, studying hard, and treat the patients with the respect and dignity they deserve.

To all the new grads, I wish you the best of luck also.

To all the new grads, I wish you the best of luck also.

Best wishes with the exam in May.

To all the new grads this year... Congrats and good luck! I was a new grad 4 years ago, (at the age of 42!!) and I have never looked back. Nursing is frustrating, challenging, crazy, rewarding, stimulating, mystifying, and never EVER boring! Find your way, your niche, your karma, and you will do GREAT> And above all, remember to be KIND..to your patients and your co-workers. It will always serve you in good stead, always!!
