Thank you allnurses!

I have been reading allnurses.com for a couple of years now. I really haven't had much to say but feel that this is a great site for information and support. Nursing school was tough for me. I truly loved that I could come here and see that I was not alone. I graduated this past December and took NCLEX 2 weeks ago. I was nervous but it was a different feeling than the nervous I felt before a nursing school exam or before the start of clinical with the 'tough' instructor. I went in, not with confidence, but feeling calm knowing that school was over and if I needed to retake NCLEX, it wasn't the end of the world. When #75 came and went, I could feel my heart racing a bit. Then 100...150...I was disappointed thinking, great! of course I have to do all 265! And that I did! So I went home and cried to my husband feeling as low as I could. Our instructors told us over and over not to stress about having to do all 265, but I still felt pretty defeated. I did the PVT 2 days later and got the 'good pop up' which helped to ease my frustration a bit, but not completely confident. I checked the brn website every single day hoping and praying my name would appear. Yesterday it was there! My name with an RN after it and a license number! That was the best number I've ever seen!!!! So thank you allnurses for being there and helping this poor nursing student through the last two years. Of course, my family was amazing support through all of the ups and downs and I'm so thankful for them.
