Textbooks - International Editions

Hey folks, time to buy some textbooks for my three classes that start Feb. 1st. They are of course, super expensive and not very many used copies for sale out there. I have noticed lots of "International Student Editions" for sale that are much less expensive. Those selling them say the content is identical to the comparable U.S. texts.

Has anyone purchased the international edition of a text, and if so, was it equivalent to the U.S. version?

It's exactly the same info. The cover is the only diference. I accidently pressed the purchase bottom three times and got charged and delivered three of the books.
