Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!
Same here, I have 2 nursing core B's. My twu advisor told me to retake both B classes. I'm going to just retake one of them, and also retake the TEAS.
Yeah, my advisor listed that as an option, but just make sure that you nail those classes/exam because they do take your most recent grade.

I think you should retake the teas. Try to get above 90.Wow I had 52 points without any bumps, I would be in if it wasn't for the guaranteed acceptanceThis is so depressing idk if I should take a pointless 9 hours in the Summer and 12 in the Fall to have 72 points but that would be overkill, a waste of time, and a LOT of money. There will probably be less guaranteed acceptance people applying for spring and I know it's less competitive but I was so sure I would get in this Fall with a 4.0 and 88 teas.. and well, I was rejected.
What do you guys think?

I disagree because if you score below an 88, then they'll only look at that score. You at the point in the game show when you need to decide whether to go with the million dollars or keep your $650,000. You could do the extra hours during the fall or summer, but I think your time will be best spent elsewhere. Texas A&M Commerce's admission for the fall is still open until May 17th. You technically can take your HESI and apply for that now. Also, you'll have to take college algebra and general ethics over the summer to fit their core, but that's just a minor inconvenience.

Ms. Lewis told me they are. She said this semester (Fall 2016) would be the last semester they count the whole pre req GPA. At first they took whichever was higher, now they will be taking only the nursing core GPA.
