Texas Woman's University (TWU) FNP Spring 2024

Hey guys! 

I don't see a thread for the Spring 2024 cohort of TWU's FNP program yet so I thought I'd start one. I'm doing the online FNP program. Anyone else applied already? 

I think I'll be pulling my application guys. Got my acceptance letter for the DNP program I applied for yesterday! Good luck to everyone!?

My status just changed to accepted today for TWU. I will be declining my acceptance as previously mentioned but just wanted to update you guys!

Hello, I received an acceptance today. I'm wanting to know what the course schedule is (how many hours per semester) as I will be paying out of pocket. Is there a place I can see a sample curriculum?

NURS 5663 – Pharmacology for Advanced NP

NURS 5093 – Theoretical Foundations and the advanced Nursing Role

NURS 5602 – Foundational concepts for the FNP

Term 3

NURS 5643 – Advanced Health Assessment for NP

NURS 5133 – Health Policy and Health Care Delivery

NURS 5603 – Principles of Care MGMT. Diagnostic and Common Procedural interventions

 

Term 4

NURS 5303 – Primary Care MGMT of Common Acute Illnesses Across the Lifespan

NURS 5493 – 180 clinical hours

 

Term 5

NURS 5893 – Restorative Health and Chronic Disease MGMT across the Lifespan

NURS 5665 – 300 clinical hours

 

Term 6

NURS 5703 – Synthesis and Transition to Professional Practice for FNP

NURS 5705 – 300 clinical hours

Hello, was recently accepted for Spring 2024. I had started UTA's online MSN-FNP program this fall but plan to transfer to TWU for Spring- hoping one or both of the classes from UTA will transfer. Has anyone else already accepted their admission for Spring with TWU?
