I received my acceptance today also for Summer '24. I applied September. I'm going to accept.

OK. I'm fine with the Summer start. I just don't want to be waiting until April for an acceptance and program starts in May. Especially not applying to other programs, just to have waited for nothing.

When did y'all apply? I'm just concerned they're going to push me to the next term, but even more concerned the acceptance notice will be time just like this.

I spoke with my advisor for an update on Monday and he said they were finishing up reviewing applicants and should be making decisions. Which obviously they are since someone has been accepted and declined. He did say since I was one of the later applicants, they may meet seating capacity. However, I don't have to reapply for Summer. Which I'm considering waiting to iron out a few things. But he also said they won't push applications out more than 1 semester. So it may seem long if you applied early in the registration process.

It's 92 seats.

They received enough applicants for Spring 2024, they haven't made any selections yet.

I spoke to my counselor this am and he basically stated the applicants were actually full.

Has anyone applied at any other schools? I just saw January 16, 2024(program full). Like does that mean application deadline closed? Capacity met?

So spoke with the admissions counselor and I'm pretty much at the bottom of the barrel! Kind of like first come, first serve if an applicant qualifies....it's only 90 seats. He said some people with decline their acceptance for various reasons. Along with the other competitive requirements of GPA. 90 applicants accepted, I'm sure way more applied. But, what's mine will be mine????

Now I'm nervous! My recently submitted application is more than likely on the bottom of the barrel?
