Texas Woman's University (TWU) FNP Spring 2024

Hey guys! 

I don't see a thread for the Spring 2024 cohort of TWU's FNP program yet so I thought I'd start one. I'm doing the online FNP program. Anyone else applied already?

I'm glad to see I'm not the only impatient one!! I reached out to my advisor and my application is "under review" but he also mentioned since the Fall semester started recently that it delays application review for Spring. He said we should see decisions within the next few weeks.

Once we start hearing back we should definitely create a FB page to be able to communicate with each other.

Now that we're in September and past the holiday I know we'll start hearing back any day now! I'm super nervous/excited. Fingers crossed guys!?

Hi!! I also applied and had all my information turned in August - I was told it just takes a couple weeks to hear back (call with the admissions counselor) 

how are you all seeing your status? I feel like there is nothing to check online? Am I missing something.

Then click 'Applicants' and 'Admission Status'

You can also click 'My Documents' to make sure all your transcripts and everything have been received! I found out a month after the fact that I had to send some transcripts twice because they had to go to the admissions department AND to the grad school department separately.

Thank you for this! Right when I posted, I went digging and found how to do this. I'm able to log in and it says pending review.

Has anyone applied at any other schools? I just saw January 16, 2024(program full). Like does that mean application deadline closed? Capacity met?

I'm not sure, anyone reach out to their counselor about this? Only other school I applied to for Spring was a DNP program @ UT Cizik. I was originally intending to go back to school Fall 2024 so I wasn't originally planning to apply anywhere this round.

I spoke to my counselor this am and he basically stated the applicants were actually full.

To clarify, by applicants do you mean that they received more than enough applicants or do does that mean they already selected them students for the program?

They received enough applicants for Spring 2024, they haven't made any selections yet.

I wonder how many applicants they're accepting. I need these next 2 weeks to go by so we can start hearing back!
