Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference. 

is the BSN through a community college program?

Nope any university that is in partnership with that program. I'm looking more at Texas tech and Midwestern. They are on the cheaper side. But you can go through a couple more schools that are online or out of state.

No because looking at tuition I don't even know if I can afford it 

I'm lucky to have my parents pay for nursing school for me, but even then I think I want to go to UTMB instead. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper, and I'm loving the idea of living on the Galveston island! If neither except me my last resort is to apply to the U of H BSN even though I don't want to go to their nursing school ?

Hi everyone,

I got an email saying castlebranch background checks are part of the application? I thought it was after we get accepted? Can someone confirm?

I emailed them earlier this month and they told me you have to do the background check before the application can be submitted. I think it has to be at least started before you submit your app.

Did you start at UH as a freshman?

Yeah I did all my pre-reqs there so I can apply there. I just don't want to cause they got a whole interview process. Plus they are crazy selective for no reason since they are still a new school.

Do we send our transcripts to nursing cas as well?

Why do we need to do a background check before? I literally didn't do it because it's not even on the check list. Do I still have time?

From what I know yes, my were automatically still in there from when I applied to utmb for their Summer 2024 program
