Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

Yeah it needs to say verified. Your transcripts need to be entered to calculate your GPA.

I didn't know we have to send our transcripts to nursingCAS as well, however I sent it yesterday so is it still okay?

As long as your application is verified and your transcripts are completed by the first. I would email nursing to make sure.

I might not even continue with this school anymore. What's the point of paying $43 for a background check and you don't even get in? I don't have money to waste like that.

This was in the email All official transcripts must be sent to the TWU Office of Admissions Processing AND NursingCAS. NursingCAS will verify your transcript entry for each course you've completed. Again, official transcripts must be sent to both.

I called and talked to someone at the actual Dallas campus who works in the deans office. You have until Feb 1st at 11:00 pm to submit everything including background check.

According to NursingCAS you have until 11:59 that day. Not like it matters much. Just putting that out there.

According to nursingcas. If sent electronically they will receive it in 7 business days and the will process it(post it in or up to 5 business days.  Mailing is even longer.
