Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

Hey guys,

I'm also applying to TWU. I wanted to know if anyone has started on the personal statements in NursingCAS? I'm not sure how much they weigh in the decision process. I also heard it's difficult to get in as a transfer student, which sucks for me LOL. I have a 3.9 GPA and 92 TEAS score, though so I'm hoping that will give me extra points.

Personal statement? There's a couple questions but no personal statement. I'm a transfer as well with a 3.5 GPA and a 94.7 on the TEAS so hopefully we get in

Yeah I meant those. They call them "personal statements" so that's why I called it that. I'm working on those right now. Also, I saw you posted under the UTMB Summer BSN forum saying you got in! Congrats! Are you planning to accept or is TWU your first choice? I ask because I'm also applying to UTMB. Congrats again!!

Thank you and yes I'm applying to all the programs!

I'm literally taking my TEAS on the 31st LOL I shouldn't be procrastinating. My application is still missing my transcript from Twu and I requested in December. I don't know if I should them.I wanted to ask if the application is due 11:59pm on the 31st or February 1st?

It's been good, my application is complete and verified. Now we just wait :)

I think it's due 10:59 Feb 1st. Do not wait until the last minute. I would call the office of admissions and get them to send the transcript.

No because looking at tuition I don't even know if I can afford it

it is, everything else I applied for is either way more expensive or an ADN program

I'm applying for ADN programs. They are cheaper and I'll be getting my BSN at the same time and it's still cheaper than twu.

how are you getting a BSN at the same time?

Concurrent programs ? I can start my BSN my second semester of my ADN. Saves money and time
