Anyone know if there is a Facebook group (or anything like that) for the class that starts in August 2016? I tried searching but I'm unable to find anything. Congrats to everyone who got in!

A guy on our unit found out last week he got in. He didn't get his preferred clinical site but still got in. He thought he bombed his interview though but I think everyone feels that way.

I got into a school in Florida but I have also been accepted into TWU with Louisiana as clinical site.

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how TWU takes people from their alternative lists. People who have gotten in the past years etc.... Anybody on it and have any of you heard back at all? Thanks...

Joel123 I called twu the other day

They stated only 8-10 ppl are on the alternate list and usually all get offered a spot. The acceptance committee pulls all the people on the list and decides who is best for the spot available. So there is not a numerical order. I was offered a spot today.

Thank you ikellumall and congratulations :) I am also on this list and its driving me nuts :( the wait really sucks...i called yesterday and she told me to wait til may or june........I guess they decide based on clinical sites maybe? Where will u be going for clinicals? one more thing....did they email you or call u...

Has anyone else from the alternate list recevied acceptance? For those of you that recevied the intial acceptance letter, is there a deadline to respond to secure placement?
