  1. hello Marishkarn, did you apply to University of Puerto Rico? If so, what was the turn out?
  2. Hi fsnurselaur9, I was wondering if you could help me with something..sent you a PM. thanks
  3. For all u guys that have an interview coming up, my question is... have u done your research? Cos if you had, you would have come across my post from dec outlining exactly what the interview process would be like...as a matter of fact, it's just a few posts down. Once again, here it is: I interviewed with TWU in November...the first thing they do when you get to the office is give you a headset to watch a video presentation on the school while answering questions on what you are seeing in the video. Afterwards you head back to the office, sit and wait for your interview. Here are some of the questions you might encounter: 1. Why TWU? 2. Why do u wanna be a crna? 3. Have u shadowed? 4. What kind of icu do you work in? 5. What kind of pt's do you take care of? (make sure you ONLY mention the pt types, medications and lab values that you understand well because they will ask you to elaborate) 6. If your chosen clinical site is full, are you willing to go any where else? 7. Know your fractions...they will try to throw you off by asking you the percentage of a fraction. 8. Any questions? pls have questions for them, it signifies interest and pro activeness. Above all, if you know your stuff you'll have no reason to be scared or nervous. Exhibit passion and confidence and you'll come out on top.
  4. Perhaps one of you should set up a group cos I bet you other ppl might be looking for one too. I'm not on fb, otherwise I would do it. Just a thought
  5. Really? Wow! Did you just start this feb or oct 2015? What about the instructors r bad? Do they not know their stuff?
  6. I got into a school in Florida but I have also been accepted into TWU with Louisiana as clinical site.
  7. I couldn't have asked it better myself. I hope SRNA1985 or any current students of TWU can help. Please guys, we really need your input. I have to decide between TWU and another school in FL so I really wanna make the right choice as this has been my lifelong dream. Thanks
  8. they are still interviewing till the middle of next week so they won't let me know till then.. however, I got admitted into another school.
  9. I'm sorry to hear that. But perhaps u should go to the school and have a meeting with them. During my interview, they mentioned that in the past they have worked with people that had to take time off for whatever reason
  10. Hello Miss surge RN, I'm sorry to hear about your health. Hope you're feeling better. I am definitely interested in getting your books but what would u do if you come back to school?

  12. Thank you for your concerns but most of us have done our research and are fully aware of what we are doing; so if you have nothing positive to contribute, kindly exit the forum. No offence please.
