That's really crappy of them I'm sorry...when are you looking to shadow by? Are you planning to apply this upcoming year? I'll see if I can't ask around for you. I would also suggest just asking a crna how you would go about it if you see one on your unit. They are all generally pretty nice.

I've got some former coworkers in the program too so I'll try to ask them if they kknow any who like to let nurses shadow with them!

Thanks! I'm down in the cardiac ICU. I don't know any that well there, I moved from Alabama last year and I shadowed at a hospital back home. There are two people on your unit starting the program with me maybe ask them who they shadowed? You could always call AG and explain what you are trying to do and I'm sure they would set you up with someone.

I got a letter Saturday saying I didn't get in. Not too dissa pointed it seems like they are very unorganized!

I've accepted at OLOL because I had to put a deposit down by the end of August to secure my spot. I hadn't counted LSU out at that point but they took so long to do interviews....a week later got invited to interview at LSU. I really liked LSU and am still considering accepting if they offer me a spot. I'll lose $1000 bucks to OLOL but just the way it is....not going to worry about it though until I get a yes or no from LSU....either way I'm going to be in a CRNA program next year so I'm just thankful for that.

I interviewed the 27th. Do they only call if you got in? I thought it would be an email...oh well I guess it could take a few days to call everyone. I'll just have to patiently wait. Congrats to those who got in!

Has anyone heard back from LSU regarding acceptance yet??

Has anyone interviewed yet? Just looking for some info on how they interview and whether or not to anticipate personal or clinical questions....thanks in advance :)

I have no money saved for school. I start in January and plan to take out loans to pay for everything. My husband graduates CRNA school in December and he's got six figures worth of loans....not worried they will be easy to pay off. I however do not have any loans from my undergraduate degree.
