Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2020

Hello all,

I wanted to make a thread for nurse anesthesia students looking to apply to Texas Wesleyan specifically as the interviews will be coming up soon. ?

Anyone else interviewing Oct 28-30th?

Not sure. My gf and I are also kinda stressing ? she emailed *** and got this ambiguous response. 

Her : “Hi ****, I know of some friends who already got their invite. If we didn’t hear by Friday, does that mean we were waitlisted or denied? “

The response: 

“More than likely yes.  Some people got the news already but the main bulk will be getting it sometime this week. “
 

We were both confused by the response.

That is super unclear. I also didn't know people were already getting their acceptance emails.

TWU does acceptances first. Then waitlist, then denied. Usually days apart from each other.

Hopefully she just mistyped and didn't, in fact, mean we're more than likely waitlisted or denied.

Yeah that is super confusing. I didn't realize people have gotten actual acceptance emails either. Theres only been a few on these forums that said their status changed so I just assumed it was only a few and just status changes. I can access mine and it still says complete and received. The few I know and have asked who also interviewed says the same.  I was hoping maybe there were some they were just really sure about and already accepted and then maybe some of us weren't denied or waitlisted yet but still contemplating on. LOL *wishful thinking!*  hope we all hear something soon!

I am not sure if people got acceptance emails. But a few people were accepted on the spot.

The facebook group still says it's only has 2 members so maybe that's a good sign ??

Yes I checked too!  But my coworker also interviewed and was accepted on the spot. He isn’t on this site though! And I use my SO account to respond to comments on here cause I don’t have an account either.. ?

I think they do accept some of the “fast track” interview ppl on the spot.. but there are a lot of people following this thread.. odds are that some more ppl would have heard something by now if they started sending out acceptances...

Anyway, I didn’t mean to spike everyone’s anxiety. But I just wanted to give an update and perhaps receive some reassurance/clarification as to what the email meant (since my SO and I were both confused). I didn’t want to bombard the school w. more emails so I just asked on here. 
 

Some other schools have deadlines that close in the following days and I wasn’t sure if to pay the additional fees/essays/ask for more references if I had gotten accepted at TWU. 

Regardless of the outcome, best of luck to everyone!

Where else will you be applying? I was looking into other schools, too, just in case I don't get into TWU or Arkansas State. I know Little Rock's app is open until January.

I started an application to Samuel Merritt, it’s due tonight? that’s why I was hoping to hear back from TWU. That one I just need to pay the fee. 
& I had started the application for a couple of schools in Fl that have deadlines that close in Jan/feb! They use nursingcas so all you have to do is get references and pay the fee. Cause nursingcas already has all your transcripts/and info.
