Hello all,

I wanted to make a thread for nurse anesthesia students looking to apply to Texas Wesleyan specifically as the interviews will be coming up soon. ?

Anyone else interviewing Oct 28-30th?

I want to say don't give up hope because you may be one of the ones they haven't gotten to on the list but at the same time I can't help but wonder if all acceptance letters went out today. Like Bama said, don't lose hope.

For those of you that haven't received an acceptance letter, dont lose hope. They are giving us 2 weeks to pay for our spot so there might be a few that accept now but reject later.

The acceptance emails are from an automated system. Check all your email addresses and junk folders! If you still can't find it, don't give up. Not everyone will accept and move forward so there will still be a chance!

I interviewed 1/15 my status just updated to decision made: Alternate List

Idk just have to play the waiting game I guess! I’m thinking if people have 10 days to accept then maybe I should know if I get a spot or not soon. I would be ok with any clinical site.

Now that I think about it, I would be very excited if I was accepted. On the other hand, I would not be the least bit disappointed if I was not accepted. My number one choice for CRNA school was between TX Wes and Baylor Army CRNA. The way things look now and thinking about the debt that I will accrue with this program makes Baylor CRNA look more feasible. I really would like to attend TXWes but my heart is also set on Baylor. Last year, the only thing I was missing for Baylor was a GRE score. So good luck to all who got accepted and I wish you the best. Off to the gym to burn off more calories.

I interviewed on 1/15 as well and go put on the Alternate List! Now we wait!!!

I emailed ******** about the Alternate list (she is so prompt and helpful) she said

“You will be on this waitlist until July 2020. If you are selected off the waitlist you will be called or emailed from the nursing dept.”
