Sup everybody ! knowing it's a bit early, but I just wanted to start this thread for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2026 program. Anyone here plan on applying?

I was in the 2024 cohort. In San Antonio. I will try to answer as many questions as I can although I do know they completely changed the way they do clinicals.

Is anybody having trouble with trying to send in their transcripts to the email they have in the application? The email they have in the application does not show up on the transcript website.

Anyone know how competitive they're with acceptance?  I applied two years ago and got waitlisted (will never know the reason), but I met all criteria. I originally applied for the Lubbock, Amarillo, Odessa location but moved recently so I am trying for SA and Austin. I have experience in healthcare, first generation, TTU grad, masters in MHA, feel like maybe the actual interview video is what got me 😭.

The application was pretty straightforward. I don't know that I have any tips. They really want to see community involvement and healthcare experience.

Yeah, it probably was the interview for sure.

If it's on parchment, I clicked send to someone else, so you don't actually look up the school, and then added the SON email from the TTU website. It's worked for all my transcripts.

I'm just wondering how you found the program overall, how were the classes, did you feel prepared for the NCLEX? Also how were your clinical structured and do you know how they've changed?
