Texas Tech University ABSN 2024

Published

Hello! This might be a little early, but I wanted to create a group for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2024. With applications due in the coming months, I was hoping to have this space for anyone to submit tips or questions that may come up. Thanks!

Which campus did you all apply too I'm hoping to get into the Mansfield campus!

I applied to the Dallas and Austin locations!

(P.S. I may be wrong, but I believe Mansfield is for Traditional BSN. This thread is for ABSN! Just a heads up in case you find info here that does not line up with BSN ? If they do have ABSN in Mansfield, that would be fantastic and I will be looking into it hahahahaha)

Oh wow!! I wonder when they'll update their website! Im sure they would have a nice pool of applicants wanting to attend. Unfortunately it is an hour and 15 mins away from me so Dallas is still my only option.

No, it definitely isn't! The school is located in downtown Dallas, right near Childrens Dallas!

You're right my apologies ? Dallas is my only preference still

Hi friends! I just joined :). I was so happy to find this forum. I just applied, but am super nervous. My background: BA from UT Austin and an MBA from LSUS. I don't fit the traditional student as I will be 50 this year. I'm worried this might hinder me in their decision process. I wanted to complete all 5 science prerequisites, but only completed the 3. I only applied for the Austin site. Hoping for the best for all of us.

Hi! I don't believe I fit the traditional student for this program either! I am 32, and have an 18 month old daughter. I got my BA from University of Maryland and my MBA from USC. I do not think your age will hinder the process at all :). I have 4 of the science prerequisites done..was going to have 5, but my Summer Patho got cancelled due to low enrollment so now I have to take it in the fall! Hoping we all hear about interviews soon!

Hello everyone!

Would anyone know how the classes are laid out? I know it says online, but I'm wondering if will have to actually go in person for anything? I know clinicals of course will be in person.

I am pretty sure we have to go to campus quite a bit each semester! I think you have to go in for exams and labs and study groups?? Not really sure actually!

Anyone else completely panicking about the fact there there are NO interviews!? Video essays?? Was not prepared for this ?
