Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

opps.. yes they told me i had to do a video essay...just got that email couple days ago... I am working on that right now.

Haven't heard from EP campus tho

Could you possibly get an acceptance from El Paso and another campus since El Paso is completely separate ?

I had to do a video and then got my acceptance letter a week and a half later. Are you still waiting?

Yeah I think you can, we should be recieving an e-mail from the El Paso campus by the end of the month.

Yes, I've accepted it...& after looking at the cost of living and overall student life in Odessa I'm wishing I had been accepted to Lubbock campus and am really hoping to hear back from my first choice school. I just don't see how one can afford to live in odessa as a student...

Did you ever figure out why Odessa and not lubbock? Im really sorry about that! Odessa and midland are both rough on housing because the oilfield hit so hard! I have friends that live out there and they pay 1, 500 in rent just for a one bedroom! I hope you hear back from your first choice soon!

Actually, I havnt tried to contact anyone in regards to why I got assigned to Odessa campus, now tht I think about it, I'm guessing I may have selected all the campuses as a destination on nursing cas I really cannot recall. I was able to finally find some student housing options and will probably be looking into that route bcz I cannot afford to pay tuition and rent a $900+ apt. I'm greatful to have been accepted to tech though...&& thanks a lot by the way! I hope to hear from my first choice as well,... Do u know if they have different standards of admission between the campuses? Like what determines where they place u if u choose more than one campus? Do u know anyone tht goes to tech Odessa? What do people have to say about the nursing school compared to other campuses if u do?
