HELLO EVERYONE!
Is anyone applying to TTU Traditional BSN nursing program Fall of 2015?? I thought this would be a great place we could all come together and ask questions, answer questions, encourage each other, and stay up to date!!
Here are some questions to get going:
What campus are you applying to?
How many campuses can we apply to?
If you are applying for Fall 2015 have you completed all 57 credit hours?
Cumulative and science GPA? (If too personal, don't answer) :)
How many volunteer hours will you have?
Does anyone know about how many apply vs. get accepted?
Any tips, advice, or information you want to share with us scared future nurses?!
When is everyone scheduled to take the TEAS?
If you've taken the TEAS already, what did you think?!
**I want this to be a positive, helpful and encouraging thread for everyone!!**
I hope this thread will get something started!

Yea I'm not too sure how competitive any location other than Lubbock is. Just know Lubbock is very competitive.
Yes I got a 72% on it. I called up there and asked the advisor if she thinks I should retake it. She said it doesn't really matter as long as you make above a 70% this semester. Sounded weird but I took her advice and didn't retake it. Hopefully she was right.
I'm applying to Lubbock. What are your stats if you don't mind sharing? Not feeling very confident right now though. Does anyone know how they look at GPA? Do they look at every single class that you have taken in college career? Or just ones that are pre requisites? My pre requisites GPA is a lot better than my overall. My overall is 3.13. I have my bachelors in another field.
For the Fall 2014 admits 157/800...you needed a 3.65 and above to get in. It's highly competitive but that's what makes it a stand out program. Top candidates and graduates.
They told you guys specifically that the cut off was a 3.65 that semester?
Had several friends at Tech get an email about the same time interview invites started going out that stated their GPA didn't make the cutoff so to speak. One of them had a 3.54 and a 84 on TEAS. It told them what it was and that they were below it. Think it was 3.65 for our cohert class.
