Texas Tech Traditional BSN Fall 2015

Published

HELLO EVERYONE!

Is anyone applying to TTU Traditional BSN nursing program Fall of 2015?? I thought this would be a great place we could all come together and ask questions, answer questions, encourage each other, and stay up to date!!

Here are some questions to get going:

What campus are you applying to?

How many campuses can we apply to?

If you are applying for Fall 2015 have you completed all 57 credit hours?

Cumulative and science GPA? (If too personal, don't answer) :)

How many volunteer hours will you have?

Does anyone know about how many apply vs. get accepted?

Any tips, advice, or information you want to share with us scared future nurses?!

When is everyone scheduled to take the TEAS?

If you've taken the TEAS already, what did you think?!

**I want this to be a positive, helpful and encouraging thread for everyone!!**

I hope this thread will get something started!

My first choice is the one in Lubbock. I have not decided if I'm going to take pathos and Intro in the spring yet, but if I do I will be taking them online also. I think there is a link on the tech page that gives you the schools that offer those classes online.

Did you have to go up to the Lubbock campus for orientation or to meet with an advisor?

I was already a Tech student

Thank you both for answering all of my questions! Good luck on getting in!!

Thank you both for answering all of my questions! Good luck on getting in!!

I'm already in the program...fixing to start semester J2 in a week.

Does anyone know when we find out anything?

From what I can tell, we will start receiving our acceptances/rejections in early April. Last year, people on the forum started hearing back around April 15th after their interviews.

Wow long time. Guess it's just waiting game now. Good luck everyone.

Any idea when we may start hearing back if we have an interview???

From the 2014 thread, I think people that were invited to interviews starting getting emails end of February?

Seems like such a long time away!!! Which campus is everyone applying to? I applied to the Odessa campus.

I'm applying to Lubbock. What are your stats if you don't mind sharing?

Not feeling very confident right now though. Does anyone know how they look at GPA? Do they look at every single class that you have taken in college career? Or just ones that are pre requisites? My pre requisites GPA is a lot better than my overall. My overall is 3.13. I have my bachelors in another field.

B.S. in Biology/Minor in Chemistry

GPA 3.0 overall

TEAS V 89
