Texas Tech Traditional BSN Fall 2012

I'm totally new to this and I am amazed at all the information this web site provides! Is anyone else on here going to be applying for the TTU Traditional Nursing Program for the Fall 2012 semester? Also, I need to take intro to nursing and pathophysiology this Spring. Is it best just to take it at Tech? Any input would be most helpful! :D

Has everyone joined the Tech nursing fb page? For some reason it will not let me join :/ BOO. Has anyone that is going to lubbock campus decided on housing? I think I am gonna stay at the cottages :) Can't wait for orientation!!

hi all! i was originally waitlisted and now i got a spot! i wanted to know if anyone signed up for intro to nursing and pathophysiology? I sent tech an email, but haven't' gotten a response on how to sign up for those classes. As for housing situation, I am looking for a roommate. Send me an email if you're attending Lbb campus at [email protected]. I look forward to meeting everyone! :)

Congrats on getting accepted! I just signed a lease at the cottages. Where all are you looking for housing?

I already live in Lubbock and I would recommend looking at renting a duplex or small house. I'm renting a two bedroom duplex right now for a little over $600, rent houses are pretty cheap in Lubbock compared to other places.

Hey guys,I got accepted to the nursing program in Abilene. I'm so excited! I wanted to know if anyone knows when orientation is for the students accepted to the Abilene campus? As far as housing goes, does anyone know some good apts in Abilene?

lol Yes I like the cottages but they are a bit on the pricey side. I am prepaying so my rent will be 500 a month but i will still have electricity to add to that. I recommend visiting places over two days and scoping out reviews online. I think calling the police department is a good idea if you are concerned about crime in the area (I did that). I am really excited though and I think it will be nicee to have my 'own' place. There are a lot of mcdougal properties in town that seem really nice but they do not roommate match so those would not work for me. Gateway was also one of my top choices with a two bedroom all furnished going for about 564 a month (electricity included to a cap of $30). I am also investing in noise cancelling headphones bc I am concerned that sincce I will have three roommates noise could possibly be a problem. I did the lodge floor plan at the cottages because I do not 'share a wall' with anyone so I am hoping that will help with some noise issues that are sure to occur in any college living area. Hope this helps!! Hunting for apartments can be a bit overwhelming!

I wanted to know if anyone has registered for intro to nursing and path.? I have to request a time ticket to register for those classes!
